At House of Lore, every garment is thoughtfully crafted on a made-to-order basis. Each piece is produced specifically for you after your order is placed, allowing us to minimise waste and maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship.
As a result, we do not offer returns or refunds for reasons such as change of mind, personal preference, incorrect selection, or sizing concerns once an order has entered production.
Please review all product descriptions, measurements, and size information carefully before placing your order.
Exchange Eligibility
We may offer an exchange only under the following circumstances:

The item received has a verified manufacturing defect.

The item received is damaged during production.

The wrong item has been delivered.
Exchange requests must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery by emailing:

We strongly recommend recording an unboxing video upon receipt of your package, as this may assist us in assessing claims relating to damaged or incorrect items.
Manufacturing Defects
Every garment undergoes quality inspection prior to dispatch.
If a manufacturing defect is identified and approved by our team, the original item must be returned in:

Unused condition

Unworn condition

Unwashed condition

Original packaging, tags, and labels intact
Items showing signs of wear, washing, alteration, staining, perfume, deodorant marks, makeup stains, or other forms of use will not qualify for exchange.
Once the returned garment is received and inspected, House of Lore will determine eligibility at its sole discretion.
If approved, we will recreate and dispatch the same garment within approximately 14 business days.
Returns
As a made-to-order label, House of Lore does not accept returns for:

Change of mind

Personal preference

Colour variation caused by screen settings

Minor variations inherent to handcrafted textiles

Incorrect size selected by the customer

Delays caused by courier partners after dispatch
Returns are accepted only when an exchange request has been approved by House of Lore.
Any unauthorised returns sent without prior approval may be refused.
Sizing & Fit
Customers are responsible for reviewing the Size Guide prior to purchase.
As garments are produced specifically to order, we are unable to offer refunds or returns due to incorrect size selection.

Refunds
Refunds are issued only under the following circumstances:

The ordered item cannot be fulfilled by House of Lore.

An approved exchange cannot be completed due to inventory or production limitations.

An eligible order is cancelled within the cancellation period specified in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Any other situation where House of Lore determines that a refund is appropriate.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.
The time required for funds to reflect in your account may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
Shipping charges, duties, taxes, and third-party transaction fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
Return Shipping
Where an exchange has been approved, customers may be required to arrange return shipment of the original garment.
Customers are responsible for ensuring returned items are securely packaged.
House of Lore is not responsible for items lost, delayed, or damaged while in transit back to us.
We recommend using a trackable courier service and retaining proof of shipment.
